What Is EverTry? Products, Fees, and How It Works

What Is EverTry?

What is EverTry?

EverTry is a fintech app that lets you pay, send, and receive money globally from your phone. You can create Visa and Mastercard virtual cards, send money to 160 countries, convert currencies, hold stablecoins and Bitcoin, and bill clients with payment links and invoices.

EverTry is not a bank. It is registered as a Money Services Business (MSB) with the US Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN), registration number 31000335734427. Banking services are provided by licensed banks and financial institutions.

EverTry is built for people and businesses whose local cards and banks don’t work well for international payments. That includes freelancers, developers, students, creators, and companies paying overseas suppliers or staff.

What is EverTry used for?

Most people come to EverTry after a “card declined” message on an international site. The app solves that, then covers the rest of their cross-border money in one place.

EverTry’s products

Virtual cards (Visa and Mastercard)

Create a USD virtual card in the app and use it anywhere Visa or Mastercard is accepted online, in 180+ countries. Fund it from your local currency, stablecoins, or Bitcoin. Cards work with Apple Pay and Google Pay, and you can keep several cards for different subscriptions.

Global money transfer

Send money to 160 countries from your EverTry wallet. You see the amount the recipient gets and the fee before you confirm. Businesses use the same rails to pay suppliers, contractors, and staff.

Currency conversion

Convert between local currencies, USD, stablecoins, and Bitcoin inside the app. Supported local currencies include NGN, KES, GHS, EGP, ZAR, TZS, XOF, XAF, BWP, MWK, UGX, and ZMW in Africa, plus PHP, PKR, IDR, and others in Asia.

Stablecoins and Bitcoin

Hold, send, receive, buy, and sell USDT, USDC, and BTC. Stablecoins are supported on 11 networks, so you can usually receive on the chain your sender already uses (see the networks table below).

Payment links

Create a link, share it, and get paid. Payment links work for both personal and business accounts, so a freelancer and a company can use the same tool.

Invoicing

Create and send invoices to clients or customers from the app. Invoicing is available on both personal and business accounts.

eSIM

Buy a travel data eSIM for 180+ countries inside the app, so you can get online abroad without roaming charges.

How EverTry’s cards are different

EverTry cards are built on a credit-class facility, not a prepaid structure. That matters because many merchants check a card’s BIN class and reject prepaid cards outright. Google Cloud billing is a well-known example, and EverTry customers use their cards there.

You still control spending: you fund the card from your wallet, and it only spends what you load.

EverTry offers two card types:

Standard cardOne-time card
Identity verification (KYC)RequiredNot required
Spending limitHigher limits after verificationUp to $250 total
ReloadableYesNo
Best forRecurring subscriptions, ads, cloud billsA single purchase or a quick test
Creation fee$4 one-timeShown in-app

If you plan to pay for anything monthly, use the standard card. A one-time card can’t be topped up, so a renewal will fail once its balance runs out.

Supported crypto networks

EverTry supports USDT and USDC on 11 networks, plus Bitcoin on its own network. Always send on a network listed for that coin, or the funds may not arrive.

For example, USDT on Tron and USDC on Base are both supported, but USDC on Tron is not.

EverTry fees

Creating a standard virtual card costs $3 once, and there is no monthly card maintenance fee. Every other fee is shown in the app before you confirm, so you see the full cost before money moves.

Fees depend on what you do, so it helps to know which steps a payment involves:

Fee typeWhen it applies
Card creationOnce, when you create a card ($3 for a standard card)
FundingWhen you add money to your wallet or card
ConversionWhen you switch between currencies, stablecoins, or BTC
TransferWhen you send money abroad
Network feeWhen you send stablecoins or BTC on-chain
Card network chargesSome merchants or card networks add their own charges, for example on cross-border or declined transactions

A single subscription payment usually involves funding and possibly conversion. A transfer abroad involves the transfer fee and possibly conversion.

To keep costs down, fund in the currency you already hold, keep enough balance for renewals so payments don’t decline, and check the fee screen before confirming.

Is EverTry safe and legit?

EverTry is a registered company, not an anonymous app. Here is what you can check yourself.

Regulation. EverTry is registered with FinCEN as a Money Services Business, registration number 31000335734427. You can look this number up on FinCEN’s public MSB registrant search. EverTry is not a bank and doesn’t claim to be one.

Identity checks. Standard accounts require identity verification (KYC). This protects your account and keeps the service compliant. The one-time card is the only product that skips KYC, and it is capped at $250 for that reason.

Card security. Your card details stay separate from your bank account. You can freeze or delete a card in the app, and a card only spends the balance you load onto it.

If something goes wrong. Contact support from inside the app or at hello@evertry.co. Give your transaction reference, the merchant name, and the date. Most issues, such as a declined payment, a pending charge, or a missing deposit, can be traced from those details.

Beware of impersonators. EverTry will never ask for your password, PIN, or one-time codes. EverTry does not work with “fund recovery” services. Anyone who promises to recover money from EverTry for a fee is running a scam. Only trust the official app, evertry.co, and EverTry’s verified social accounts.

Who EverTry is for

EverTry fits you if your local card or bank gets in the way of paying, sending, or getting paid internationally:

  • Freelancers and remote workers who pay for tools in USD and bill clients abroad.
  • Developers and founders running cloud, AI, and SaaS bills every month.
  • Students paying application, exam, and course fees.
  • Creators and marketers running ads and paying for editing and design tools.
  • Crypto holders who want to spend or send stablecoins without cashing out first.
  • Businesses paying suppliers, contractors, and staff across borders, or holding a stablecoin treasury.

EverTry may not fit if you need a full bank account with USD, EUR, or GBP account details to receive salary or wire transfers. Those accounts aren’t available yet. It also isn’t a savings or investment product.

How to get started with EverTry

Setup takes about 10 minutes.

  1. Download the app from the App Store or Google Play, or sign up at app.evertry.co.
  2. Create your account with your email and phone number.
  3. Verify your identity with a government ID. Skip this step only if you just need a one-time card.
  4. Fund your wallet with local currency, USDT, USDC, or BTC. For crypto, pick a supported network from the table above.
  5. Choose what to do next. Create a virtual card, send money abroad, make a payment link or invoice, or buy an eSIM.
