Where Can You Buy a Deezer Gift Card?
You have two main choices. You can buy from Deezer, or you can buy from a store or website that sells codes.
Buy a Deezer Gift Card Directly From Deezer
This is the safest route. Deezer sells digital gift cards on its own site. You need a Deezer account first, so sign up or log in. Then pick how many months you want and pay. Deezer sends you the code.
Deezer explains the full flow on its Deezer Gift Cards help page. It’s worth a quick read before you pay.
Buy a Deezer Gift Card From a Third-Party Retailer
Many websites sell Deezer codes too. Some are fine. Some cause headaches. Keep these points in mind:
- Many codes only work in one country. Check the country on the product page.
- Read the seller’s reviews and refund policy. Codes are often not refundable.
- A seller is not official just because it says “Deezer” on the page.
If you want to buy Deezer gift cards from a store, pick one you already trust.
Physical vs Digital Deezer Gift Cards
A digital Deezer gift card comes by email. You can use it in minutes. A physical card comes from a shop. The code is printed on the back, sometimes under a scratch-off layer. Scratch it fully before you type the code.
Living in France? Cards from Fnac and Darty have their own page: deezer.com/fnacdarty.
How Much Does a Deezer Gift Card Cost?
There’s no single price for a Deezer gift card. The price depends on your country, the number of months, the seller, and the currency.
The best way to check is simple. Open Deezer’s own purchase page while you’re logged in. It shows the price for your country. Then compare it with other sellers.
Here’s a smart trick. Work out the cost per month. It’s the fair way to compare a 1-month card with a 12-month card.
Also watch for fees. Some sellers add charges at checkout. Prices change often, so always confirm the final price before you pay.
Where Are Deezer Gift Cards Available?
Not every country gets every card. That’s the part that trips most people up. Deezer also says the music catalogue depends on the country where you activate the code.
So before you buy a Deezer gift card, check two things. First, is your country on Deezer’s list? Second, does the card match your Deezer account country?
Deezer Gift Card Availability in Nigeria
Live in Nigeria? Look for Nigeria on Deezer’s country list first. Don’t assume that a shop which sells you a code can also redeem it on a Nigerian account. The card country and your account country should match.
Deezer Gift Card Availability in Ghana
The same rule applies in Ghana. Check Deezer’s list, then read the seller’s page. If it doesn’t name Ghana, ask first.
Deezer Gift Card Availability in South Africa
In South Africa, do the same two checks. Confirm your country on Deezer’s list. Then confirm the card matches your account.
Deezer Gift Card Availability in Kenya
Old blog posts give mixed answers about Kenya. Don’t rely on them. Go with Deezer’s current list. If you can, test with the smallest card first.
Deezer Gift Card Availability in Brazil
Searching for “cartão presente Deezer”? That’s just Portuguese for Deezer gift card. In Brazil, check Deezer’s list and match the card to your account country.
Deezer Gift Card Availability in Germany
In German, you may see “Deezer Prepaid-Karte”. It usually means a prepaid Deezer code or gift card. Check that it’s made for your country.
Is There a Deezer Gift Card in Turkey?
Many sellers advertise a Deezer gift card for Turkey. But only Deezer can tell you if a code works on a Turkish account. Check Deezer’s list first. Then buy.
Full Deezer Gift Card Country List
Deezer keeps the full country list on its Deezer Gift Cards help page. Open it and find your country. Check it again right before you buy, because lists change over time.
How to Redeem a Deezer Gift Card
Ready to use your Deezer gift card? It only takes a minute.
How to Redeem a Deezer Gift Code at deezer.com/gift
- Sign in to the right Deezer account.
- Open deezer.com/gift in your browser.
- Type in your Deezer gift code.
- Select Submit.
- Check your account. Your Premium access should now show.
Pause on step 1. Make sure you’re in the account you want to upgrade. A redeemed code can’t be taken back.
Type the code exactly as shown, with no extra spaces. This is the Deezer code activation page, so bookmark it. Searching for “Deezer redeem code”? This is the page you want.
Can You Use a Deezer Gift Card With Your Existing Subscription?
Sometimes yes. It depends on how you pay today.
| Your current setup | Can you use a Deezer gift card? | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Direct Deezer Premium | Yes | Redeem at deezer.com/gift |
| Apple or Google Play billing | No, while active | Cancel it. Wait until your account is on Free |
| Deezer Family or Duo | No, while active | Cancel it. Wait until your account is on Free |
| Partner offer (such as Orange) | No, while active | Cancel it. Wait until your account is on Free |
A Deezer gift card is not a cash balance. It adds subscription time. If you already pay Deezer directly, your next payment moves back by the length of the code.
How Long Does a Deezer Gift Card Last?
Two clocks matter here.
First, the code. It’s valid for 12 months from the day you buy it. Redeem it within that time.
Second, your Premium time. That’s 1 to 12 months, depending on the card and your country.
Here’s an example. You buy a 3-month Deezer gift card today. You have 12 months to redeem it. Then you get 3 months of Premium.
Can You Combine Deezer Gift Cards?
Yes, in most cases. If you pay Deezer directly, you can add as many gift cards as you like on top of your subscription. Each code adds more time.
The exceptions are the same as before: Apple, Google Play, Family, Duo, and partner plans. Cancel first and wait until your account is back on Free. Then redeem your Deezer gift card.
Is a Deezer Gift Card a Prepaid Card?
Not quite. A Deezer gift card is a prepaid code. It buys a set amount of Premium time; it isn’t a bank card, and it doesn’t hold money you can spend anywhere else.
People search for “Deezer prepaid card” or “Deezer voucher” and often mean a gift card. Others mean a prepaid payment card that can pay Deezer. They’re different. A gift code gives you subscription time. A prepaid or virtual card pays a bill.
Why Is My Deezer Gift Code Not Working?
Don’t panic. Most codes fail for simple reasons.
| Problem | Likely cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| “Invalid code” | Typing error | Re-enter it slowly. Remove spaces |
| Still invalid | Look-alike characters (O and 0, I and 1, S and 5) | Check each one |
| “Not available in your country” | Card and account country don’t match | Check both countries |
| Already redeemed | The code was used before | Check your account, then the seller |
| Wrong account | You’re signed in to another account | Check which account you’re using |
| Apple or Google billing | You can’t redeem while billed there | Cancel. Wait until Free |
| Family, Duo or partner plan | Plan not supported | Cancel. Wait until Free |
| Expired | More than 12 months since purchase | Check the purchase date |
What to Do If Your Deezer Gift Card Was Already Redeemed
Take these steps, in this order:
- Check which account you’re signed in to.
- Look in your email for the purchase receipt.
- Contact the seller if you bought from a store.
- Contact Deezer support and share your proof of purchase.
Keep your receipt and a screenshot of the code email. They speed up support.
What to Do If the Code Is Region-Locked
Some people see “not available in your country”. That means the card and the account don’t match. Check the card country, your account country, and the seller’s product description. If you bought the wrong country’s card, ask the seller about a refund.
Deezer Gift Card vs Paying Deezer Directly With a Virtual Dollar Card from EverTry
A Deezer gift card is great for gifting. It also suits you if you want a fixed amount of Premium time. But it isn’t right for everyone.
Sometimes the real problem isn’t finding a Deezer gift card. It’s paying. Your bank may block international payments. Your local card may keep failing. Here’s how the options compare.
| Factor | Deezer gift card | Virtual dollar card | Apple / Google billing |
|---|---|---|---|
| How you pay | Prepaid code | Card payment | App store payment |
| Recurring payments | Not the main use | Yes, where supported | Yes |
| Depends on country | A lot | Depends on card acceptance | Depends on store |
| Use it elsewhere | No | Yes | No |
| Best for | Gifts and prepaid access | Ongoing online subscriptions | People already using app stores |
If your local card gets declined, a virtual dollar card from EverTry can help. It’s a reusable way to pay for international subscriptions. You can use one card for Deezer, Spotify and other online services, where those services accept it. Check Deezer’s accepted payment methods first.
Be clear on one thing. A virtual card can fix a declined payment. It can’t change which countries Deezer serves.
Gift card unavailable or not the right fit? A Deezer gift card is useful for prepaid access. But a virtual dollar card can be more flexible when you need to pay for recurring international subscriptions.
