Introducing Subscription Reminders on EverTry
We believe your money should leave your card only when you expect it to.
Subscriptions make that hard. They renew quietly, on dates most of us never write down. The first sign is often a charge you didn’t plan for, or a payment that fails because your balance wasn’t ready.
Today, we’re changing that with Subscription Reminders on the EverTry dollar virtual card.
Set one on any subscription charge, like Netflix, Claude AI, Spotify or ChatGPT. EverTry will then notify you before it renews, by push notification and email:
- 10 days ahead for monthly and yearly plans
- 7 days ahead for weekly plans
That’s enough time to top up your card, keep the subscription, or cancel it with the provider before you’re charged.
Why subscription reminders matter
Repeated failed payments can affect your card’s standing. A reminder in advance helps you stay ahead of that.
If your balance is low, you can top up in a tap, right from the reminder.
How to set a subscription reminder
- Open your card and find a subscription charge in your transactions.
- Tap Set reminder. The name, amount and estimated renewal date are filled in for you. The date is estimated from your last charge, and you can edit it.
- Confirm your billing cycle: weekly, monthly or yearly.
- Tap Save reminder.

When will I be notified?
10 days before the renewal date for monthly and yearly plans. 7 days before for weekly plans.
Is it free?
Yes. Subscription Reminders are completely free on all active EverTry cards.
Does EverTry cancel the subscription for me?
No. Cancel with the provider directly. The reminder gives you the notice and the time to do it.
What if the price changes?
We show the amount from your last charge. If the provider changes its price, the actual charge may differ.
Can I change or stop a reminder?
Yes. Edit, pause or delete it anytime from Subscriptions on your card. Paused reminders move to their own tab, so you can bring them back whenever you want.
Where do I find my reminders?
Under Subscriptions on your card, or on the “Never miss a renewal” card on your home screen.
